down west ridge, pick up snowshoes. snowing on us. back to camp 630pm.
monday hiking 730am. back to car at 11 am - 1/2 the time spent going up.
Solid traffic for miles coming down 395, but thinned out after independence.
Lots of Mules Days traffic with big trucks hauling everything from mules
and horses to a horse-drawn fire truck and covered wagons.
traffic good and got home about 4pm.
